Legoland

One of our favorite places to hang for the day is Legoland.  It's about a 15 minute drive south and it makes for a great family experience.

There are now three parks at Legoland, the main Legoland Park, the Legoland Waterpark, and the SeaLife Aquarium.  They're all fantastic.  If you're visiting Legoland in the Fall/Winter season, make sure to check their website for hours and to see if the Waterpark is open (it's seasonal). 

Legoland is perfect for the little ones, but our thirteen year old daughter still loves it.  Best picks for food:  Hit the Knights' Smokehouse BBQ for a "real BBQ" meal.  And finish with dessert of Granny's Apple Fries or at the Castle Ice Cream Shop with Breyer's Ice Cream.  These won't disappoint.
